FIP Silver Belgrade 2025, held from 20 to 24 August at the Padel Center Belgrade Waterfront, was one of the most important international sporting events held in Serbia last year. Held under the auspices of the International Padel Federation (FIP), the tournament welcomed top players from more than 20 countries and demonstrated Serbia’s ability to host competitions at the highest international level.

As many as 59 men’s and 47 women’s teams registered for the event, representing more than 200 players and confirming the strong interest of the European and global padel community. The Belgrade Waterfront courts hosted high-level sport, fiercely contested matches and players from the top of the FIP rankings. The tournament featured a €25,000 prize fund and five days of competition, including qualifying rounds, the main draw and the finals in both categories.

The atmosphere around the central court and in the stands gave the event a special energy. With free admission, sports fans, families, recreational players and many newcomers to padel had the opportunity to watch world-class matches live. Public interest remained strong throughout the tournament, while live coverage on Arena Sport brought the event to an even wider audience.

The sporting level was outstanding. In the men’s category, the title went to Italy’s Flavio Abbate and Álvaro Montiel Caruso, while the women’s title was won by Russia’s Ksenia Sharifova and Argentina’s Virginia Riera. Their performances, together with the quality of the entire final stage, confirmed that FIP Silver Belgrade was far more than a promotion of padel – it was a serious international competition.

FIP Silver Belgrade 2025 will be remembered as an important milestone for the development of padel in Serbia and the region. For five days, Belgrade became a meeting point for elite athletes, fans, partners and padel enthusiasts from Serbia and abroad, sending a clear message that the future of the sport in Serbia is exceptionally promising.
